Traditional Food

The Traditional Food Project is one of the core initiatives of the Arab Women's Union in Bethlehem, combining women's empowerment with the preservation of Palestinian culinary heritage. Launched in 1987, the project has steadily grown in quality and scale.

The project's goals include:

• Creating job opportunities for women in a safe and productive environment.

• Teaching authentic Palestinian cooking techniques to new generations.

• Supporting local farmers by purchasing ingredients from their produce.

• Providing traditional Palestinian dishes to restaurants, shops, and the local community.

Equipped with modern equipment, the kitchen is staffed by skilled women who preserve the taste and spirit of Palestine in every dish.
